🚨 What happened?

iFAST has recently identified several unauthorised attempts to impersonate our brand. We are issuing this advisory to keep our customers informed and to help members of the public protect themselves.

The following outlines the key cases:

iFAST does not offer cryptocurrency products such as those shown above

  3. Fraudulent Websites and Applications Mimicking iFAST Global Bank
  4. iFAST Global Bank has observed multiple fraudulent websites impersonating our official online platforms.

In addition, we detected several fake Android application store pages created to mislead members of the public into downloading malicious Android Package Kit (APK) files falsely branded as the iFAST Global Bank mobile application.

These unauthorised websites and application pages were designed to imitate our branding and interface in order to deceive users and potentially compromise their personal or financial information.

    Fraudulent iGB App

Always download iFAST applications exclusively from verified mobile app stores.

  5. Phishing Emails Requesting Tax Documents
  6. iFAST has become aware of emails being sent to customers falsely claiming that tax documentation is required for compliance purposes. These messages typically contain phishing links designed to capture personal or financial information.

Please note that iFAST will not request sensitive information via unsolicited emails or direct customers to unverified links. If you receive such emails, do not click on any links and report them to us immediately.

    FSMOne Phishing Email

Beware of unsolicited emails prompting you to click on links.

  8. iFAST has flagged a fraudulent WhatsApp group impersonating iFAST and soliciting users to participate in illegitimate investment schemes.

Clients are strongly advised to exercise caution and to refrain from engaging with, or transferring funds to, any unverified investment opportunities communicated via WhatsApp. iFAST will never solicit investments or request fund transfers through unofficial messaging platforms.

    Fraudulent WhatsApp Group

iFAST will never initiate unsolicited contact via WhatsApp groups or request funds through such means.

🛠️ What has iFAST done?

Upon discovery, iFAST promptly submitted abuse reports to the relevant authorities, domain registrars, hosting providers, and platform operators. The identified fraudulent websites and fake application listings were taken down.

🛡️ How Investors Can Protect Themselves

To safeguard against fraudulent schemes involving unauthorised use of iFAST’s identity, we strongly encourage the public and investors to take the following precautions:

  • Be cautious with unsolicited messages: Avoid engaging with unknown individuals who approach you through messaging apps, social media platforms, or dating sites claiming to offer investment advice or opportunities. Always verify such contacts through official and trusted sources.

  • Access iFAST services only through official channels: Use our verified websites and authorised mobile applications to access iFAST services. Do not click on links received from unknown parties or suspicious sources.

  • Verify identities and credentials: If someone claims to represent iFAST, request official identification such as business cards or regulatory certificates, and confirm their status via recognised databases.

  • Do not transfer funds to personal or unverified accounts: iFAST does not promote any investment products that guarantee principal or offer unusually high returns. Always exercise caution; if an opportunity appears too good to be true, it likely is.

  • Look out for misleading materials and impersonation attempts: Be alert to forged documents, fake trading dashboards, and emails or apps that mimic iFAST branding. Be reminded that iFAST does not offer any cryptocurrency products.

  • Take immediate action if credentials were shared: If you suspect that you may have entered your login details on a fraudulent website, please reset your iFAST account password immediately via our official login page.

  • Report suspected fraud promptly: If you come across any suspicious activities or communications claiming to be from iFAST, please contact us immediately at ir@ifastfinancial.com. You are also encouraged to report the incident to the appropriate authorities.

Timely reporting helps authorities investigate and potentially disrupt fraudulent operations, protecting more individuals from harm.
