iFAST takes the security of our clients and the public seriously and remains committed to safeguarding their information.
🚨 What happened?
iFAST has recently identified several unauthorised attempts to impersonate our brand. This advisory is issued to keep our clients informed and to help members of the public better guard against such activities.
The following outlines the key cases identified:
- Impersonation Fraud Involving Fake Trading Licences
iFAST recently became aware of a fraudulent scheme involving individuals falsely claiming to represent iFAST Global Bank in connection with so-called “trading licences”, investment approvals, or fund release arrangements.
Victims may be shown:
- Forged licences or certificates
- Fabricated account statements
- Fake trading dashboards or screenshots
- Impersonation materials bearing the iFAST name and branding
Victims may then be told that their funds are awaiting release, but that they must first complete “compliance”, “licensing”, or “legal verification” procedures before access can be granted.
They may then be instructed to transfer funds through cryptocurrency platforms, digital wallets, or other unofficial payment channels.
iFAST wishes to clarify that:
- We do not issue “trading licences” in this manner.
- We do not request cryptocurrency transfers to release funds or activate accounts.
- All legitimate client communications and transactions take place exclusively through our verified channels.
- Fraudulent Websites Using iFAST Branding
- Fraudulent Website Impersonating iFAST Global Bank
iFAST has identified a fraudulent website falsely presenting itself as an official iFAST Global Bank platform. This site is not affiliated with iFAST in any way and may be designed to mislead members of the public into believing they are interacting with a legitimate iFAST service. The fraudulent website may attempt to obtain login credentials, personal information, or other sensitive details.
- Fraudulent Website Using FSMOne Branding
iFAST has identified a newly registered website operating under a domain name closely resembling FSMOne, which appears to promote cryptocurrency-related trading services.
The use of the FSMOne name may create confusion and mislead members of the public into believing the platform is associated with FSMOne or iFAST.
iFAST wishes to clarify that:
- We do not offer, distribute, or promote any cryptocurrency or crypto-related investment products.
- As of February 2026, FSMOne in Singapore has officially rebranded as FSM Global.
- Official iFAST Global Bank and FSM Global services should only be accessed through verified iFAST-owned domains and applications. The full list of domains owned by iFAST entities is available on our official website here: iFAST Corporation | Business Divisions
- We do not currently hold any licence issued by Indonesia’s Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Investors are encouraged to verify all regulatory claims through our authorised channels. The full list of iFAST’s regulatory licences and registrations is available on our official website here: iFAST Corporation | Our Licences
Members of the public are strongly advised to remain vigilant and avoid interacting with suspicious websites, entering personal or banking information, or transferring funds to unverified platforms.
- Fake Social Media Accounts Impersonating iFAST
iFAST has identified several fake Instagram accounts impersonating iFAST Corporation and iFAST Global Markets.
These fraudulent social media accounts may attempt to:
- Impersonate official iFAST representatives
- Promote fraudulent investment opportunities
- Direct users to unofficial websites or messaging platforms
- Solicit personal information or fund transfers
Please verify all iFAST-related social media accounts through our verified channels before engaging with them.
- Phishing Emails Requesting Tax Documents
iFAST continues to observe emails being sent to clients falsely claiming that tax documentation is required for compliance purposes. These emails typically contain phishing links designed to capture personal or financial information.
iFAST wishes to remind clients that we will not request sensitive information via unsolicited emails or direct clients to unverified links. Clients should remain vigilant and avoid engaging with suspicious emails, including clicking links, downloading attachments, or providing personal information. Please report any such emails to us immediately through our official channels.
🛠️ What has iFAST done?
Upon identifying these incidents, iFAST promptly submitted reports and takedown requests to the relevant authorities, platform operators, domain registrars, hosting providers, and social media platforms.
We continue to actively monitor for unauthorised use of the iFAST name and branding across websites, applications, and social media channels.
đźš© What red flags should investors look out for?
Fraudulent schemes involving financial institutions are becoming increasingly sophisticated. Fraudsters may use realistic-looking websites, forged documents, fake trading dashboards, and urgent compliance-related requests to create a false sense of legitimacy.
Be cautious if you encounter any of the following:
- Requests for urgent verification, payments, or fund transfers
- Claims that funds are “pending release” subject to additional fees, licences, or compliance procedures
- Requests to transfer funds through cryptocurrency platforms, digital wallets, or personal accounts
- Website domains, email addresses, or social media handles that differ from iFAST’s official channels
- Investment opportunities promising guaranteed returns or unusually high profits
- Links directing you to unofficial websites, messaging platforms, or applications
- Forged certificates, fabricated account statements, or fake trading dashboards bearing iFAST branding
Even where branding and communications appear convincing, always verify independently through iFAST's official channels before taking any action.
🛡️ How Investors Can Protect Themselves
To safeguard against fraudulent schemes involving unauthorised use of iFAST’s identity, we strongly encourage the public and investors to take the following precautions:
-
Be cautious with unsolicited contact. Avoid engaging with unknown individuals who approach you through messaging apps, social media platforms, or other channels claiming to offer investment advice or opportunities. Always verify such contacts through official sources.
-
Use only official channels. Access iFAST services exclusively through our verified websites and authorised mobile applications. Do not click on links or download attachments from unsolicited emails, messages, or social media accounts claiming to represent iFAST.
-
Verify identities before acting. If someone claims to represent iFAST, request official identification and confirm their credentials through our authorised channels.
-
Do not transfer funds to unverified accounts. iFAST does not promote investment products that guarantee capital or offer unusually high returns. If an opportunity appears too good to be true, it likely is.
-
Be alert to cryptocurrency-related requests. iFAST does not offer cryptocurrency or crypto-related products or trading services, and will never request payments through cryptocurrency platforms, digital wallets, or personal crypto accounts.
-
Watch for impersonation materials. Be alert to forged documents, fake trading dashboards, and emails or applications that mimic iFAST branding.
-
Act immediately if your credentials have been compromised. If you suspect you have entered your login details on a fraudulent website, reset your iFAST account password immediately via our official login page and contact us promptly for assistance. We strongly recommend setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), such as One-Time Password (OTP) and Trusted Device, as an additional layer of security to better protect your account.
-
Report suspected fraud promptly. If you come across any suspicious activities or communications claiming to be from iFAST, please contact us immediately at ir@ifastfinancial.com. You are also encouraged to report the incident to the appropriate authorities.
Timely reporting helps authorities investigate and disrupt fraudulent operations, protecting others from harm.
